(no subject)
Allrighty; patched things up with Molly, and possibly more importantly, Ben, and so now most all is bearable in the world.
Molly said she was totally gonna hook me up today. It all started last Thursday ~~~~~~ I was sitting in meteorology lab, and we were doing section evaluations (grading the TA) and this boy from the front that I never noticed before (to be fair, I looked at no one but my lab partner because I usually want to avoid as much of that lab as possible) was taking the eval's and putting them into the secret envelope. He smiles at me in that friendly queer sort of way. He was decent, and that's said for a lot. Gaydar... I'm getting better at that. My lab partner and I rush through the lab -- last one this semester -- and finish up early, about 3:20 or so and the next freeway flyer comes at 4; so I look to the front at the boy I'll never see again and he's using a cell phone to do 4- and 5-digit multiplication. Well, I've got my TI-83 and I'm thinking "this is fantastic... too fantastic..." I walk up there and announce to him and his lab partner "My bus doesn't leave until four, would you like to use my calculator until then?" He says: "umm, sure" and it's too fantastic. After they finish I walk upstairs with him (to turn in the eval's), making small talk -- which I'm not very good at -- and then we walk back downstairs together.
Thin blond hair, wears contacts to make his eyes blue-er, wierd. And he's in a theatre major --> dance major transition. He'll be in UWM's West Side Story... he's a Jet. Anyway, he says he takes the same bus as Molly and Julie and I, and Molly says that she knows him from her class. Yeah, she's totally gonna hook me up.
Also, if any of you knew -- even in part, I guess -- about my lack of summer romance, I have re-discovered a picture of him for your viewing pleasures, but hell if I know how to get pictures up on this damned thing...
yeah, I definitely don't...
so I'll put it somewhere that I do know how. But in any event, know that Molly's initial comment was: "awwww, Vince!" 'cuz, fuck, he's cute!
