Wow another one already *smiles*
Well today did not go to badly (except for the end of it, I'll get to it shortly though) I started about 5am, I had my last day of training as a manager at that gas station (easy job I know). That went very well, I got done with everything I had to do pretty quickly. So I ended up going home a hour early so I could get some thing eat before starting my other job. (see not a bad start)
I got to work at the oil change place ate my food, then of course started work. It was a pretty steady day, we were having an oil change sale so more people were coming in that normal. We finally started to die down at about 5 or so. I went of for a cigarette (I know a really bad habit)Half way smoking it a jeep pulled up. I asked what we could do for her, she responded that her engine was overheating and she wanted us to check it out. Well I put out my cigarette and guided her in our bay, then told her to put her keys on the dash and pop the hood. I got the hood up and squeezed the radiator hose line to check for presser, it seemed ok. So I proceeded to take the radiator cap off, at first it went well. I did it really slow so any small amount of presser that was in it would come out slowly. Well unfortunately the radiator was air locked (witch means that until air was finally able to get in there no presser was going to be released. I only had it about a quarter of the way open went it started bubbling up, I tried to put the cap back on but the presser built up to much by then and blew the radiator cap off. I am sure you can guess what happened then, yea I got coolant (that was over 260 degrees) spray on my hands, face, neck as well as my shirt.
Thats the bad part *frowns* Don't worry thought I am alright, I only have very minor burns on my face and neck. And the rest of my is the same as always. On a small side note I was laughing my ass right after it happened, my managers were looking at me very funny. They made sure that I was ok and they had a little chuckle over it as well.
Well I said I was going to try and go out and get a life, but I guess a bit of action/drama will have to do.
