Minor update!
First of all, PROJECT! I failed MISERABLY! So what I need to do is get at least a 70 on the final (shouldn't be TOO hard) and/or hope for a curve (which this prof is usually a little generous with). SO! That's all over and done with, though (aside from final) so no use worrying or stressing over it now!
Also! Decided to start working on a story that's been sitting in my head for ages. And I'm actually planning stuff out before actually sitting down to write. Got a looot of planning still left to do, but, well... The background processes of my mind which usually were reserved for thinking on coding projects, stress and worry, etc. have all been commandeered for thinking on this story idea, and it's making life a lot better in general, methinks XD
Also also! Rift is amazing. Played the open beta for one day and already decided to preorder it. It's THAT good. Key things I'd like to note that I like best: The multiple soul system thing where basically, unlike FFXI where you get 1 job and a subjob at half level, you get 3 'jobs,' each of which is something like a single talent tree from WoW or AoC or GA or a lot of other MMOs. Except the only real restriction seems to be that each tree cannot have more points spent in it than your current level. Also, the crafting system - you can deconstruct things into USEFUL crafting materials! I've been waiting for a good MMO to have something like this for YEARS. And armor dyes :D Also, the rifts and invasions themselves are awesome. Like big server events that happen really often, kinda hard to explain but after having 4 healers on me while I was tanking five tree monster things as big as mack trucks and two others which were bigger than a house as about fifty other completely random people just bashed them to death was just AMAZING.
Also also ALSO! I signed up for some Kendo classes finally, which start tonight, so yay :D
