Day five-and-a-half
Mission log, April 23rd, 2010, part II
Squad commander radioed in that he'll be fine. My two-man team managed to regroup with the rest of the squad, and we kept moving towards Building 12.
But at the moment, we've been overrun. The zombies are everywhere - dozens are swarming every doorway, slicks are running rampant, and there's at least one "tank" out there that refuses to stay down.
We've been stuck here defending against a seemingly endless horde, halfway to our destination. There's a temporary lull in action, so a few scouts are looking for ways around. Once they do, we'll probably be on the move again.
There is some good news, though - the military's finally gotten involved. They're sending out a spec ops team to this location. It seems some of those transmissions we sent out on Tuesday went further than we'd hoped.
We were all dead tired, low on ammo, and about ready to give up hope, but that seems to be just the information we needed just to keep our morale up.
We might just get through this...
