For once: a poem that isn't emo...

I'll type up a synopsis of my spring break another day, all I really wanted to do was to post this...

"Whispers of Life"

Whispers of life softly sway weathered trees
Awaken conciousness so long locked away
Lost in idle depths with those days forgotten
Memories pushed from mind a day long ago

Whispers of life bringing breath to cold hearts
Chilled bits of black glass perpetually frosted
Thawing to meet the kiss of sweeter warmth
The gentile touch winter's wrath hides in vain

Whispers of life flowing from lips of heart's end
No frost remains in the paths of lover's words
Bringing light to the dark left in winter's wake
Unlocked doors forbidden to be opened again

Whispers of life allegiance unknown but to all
True intentions lie hidden as forgotten hearts
But doors be opened, memories relived freely
As whispers of life open a heart once closed
