Seriously, today was really good. I met some new fandom people IN PERSON EVEN and we did a mini-tour of places Rose likes to go in Portland. Only missed Powell's and the Swaggat in NW (more food would have been untenable, it's true). New buddies=awesome. I'm EVEN MORE excited about fandom than I already had been. (Suckers. >D)
I hope you guys had a safe drive over the mountains. Next time: hanging out for longer than 4 hours. It will be done.
