New awesome challenge!
I accidentally found this whilst user hopping through the recent code push post.
The Racebending Revenge ficathon which sounds amazing.
Specifics:
Re-write one or more white characters in the fandom(s) of your choice as chromatic/non-white/PoC, in a story of at least 500 words, with some acknowledgment of how the racial difference would make a difference to the story being told.
I really hope I can add something to it, as much as I'm not confident in my ability to be coherent about race issues or to even know how things might be different for a character if they happened to be of a different race or ethnicity. If anyone has a suggestion of a character for me to tackle, I would love to have some ideas! I won't really be able to think about it until the end of the week but I'm determined to go for it.
