I got a PM today about some of the parts I'm selling, which is awesome since I'm selling with a markup. >D If I sell all the things I have for sale right now, I'll be able to afford to get Tarquin his own body (ahaha, I really want to know if he'd fit on a mega gem). Which would be rad since the resin match with his other body is just not that good and it suits Archimedes better.
I was going to make Archimedes a wig, but I can't find my wefts and I don't remember where they were except in the box with all the rest of my doll junk. I feel a massive reorganize is in the works. All my boxes are a mess.
Iskander still needs clothes that fit him. The t-shirt he's in doesn't even make a good dress, it's so loose. I'm actually a little excited about sewing for teenies, if I have some nice fabric. So small! 1/4 inch seam allowances!
On the plus side, I did get my sewing machine back. And they gave me a discount since they've had it, JUST FOR A CLEANING, for two months. As I said on FB: I will at least consider giving them my business again... if my machine even needs it. That thing is a monster. It's older than I am and this is probably the first time it's ever been professionally serviced.
Maybe I'll even start on the new carryall for the dollies. I like the sturdiness of the suitcase I use now, but it's really not big enough for three 65+cm dolls. I've seen some cool tutorials and I have fabric I really like... all that remains is cleaning off the table so it can be used again.
Also, I really want to do face-ups today. The torrential rain seems to have stopped so maybe I can do a little something. Archimedes needs eyebrows, everyone needs lashes, and I think I'm going to redo Iskander entirely. Cute as he is, I pretty much did his current look on a whim and it's not going to suit my long term plans. ALAS.
I really need to stop looking at Chroms on DoA, though. Every single one of them makes me mad and makes me want to fix them ALL. And Tarquin is in New York so it's not like I can do stuff with him, atm. *sad pandas* Soom sculpts are so. freaking. nice. But very few people seem to do decent work on them.
The End! I'm going to try being productive for a while.
