Color meme
Okay, so mayara13 tagged me (after having been tagged by hecubuscathead) for the meme, "Comment and I'll give you a color that I think represents you, and then you list ten things you like in that color."
Apparently, I'm 'sposed to be carmine. Good, intense, oxygenated blood for me, I guess. (I've always pegged myself as more of a werewolf than a vampire, but maybe we're discussing the blood on my muzzle.)
Here goes! (After the cut, to have mercy on you.)
1. Bloodletting -- one of the bestest albums evar.
2. Translucent glass. I can hold just about any glass object in this color up to the light and stare at it for a very long time. I was positively mesmerized by a deep red marble I had as a kid.
3. Tapatio or Cholula, whichever is on hand. I like to consume it indiscriminately.
4. I know that this color of sunset usually indicates forest fires, volcanic eruptions, etc., but that doesn't change that it's dang pretty.
5. Does the cape count? Don't answer that, because the cape totally counts.
6. I've always liked the color of red Lite-Brite pegs. Again with the fascination with translucence. [Note: in the process of trying to find the picture below, I found this, which is a five-foot-tall Lite-Brite picture of the artist's parents, naked. Yes, you read that correctly. Like you do.]
7. Yom yom yom red onions!
8. I'm quite fond of eating these things.
9. Put a documentary about volcanoes on the TV, and then stop talking, because I'm probably not listening any more until it's over.
10. The red game piece from Sorry. It was my favorite board game as a little kid, and there's nothing else on earth quite the same shape.
