Fandom/pairing: Super Junior; possibly EunHae
Eunhyuk walked silently down the sidewalk, eyes downcast, hands in pockets and lips curved into a frown. A cascade of fiery red locks flowed past his shoulders and covered his somber face from the eyes of gossiping eyes from passerbys. Thoughts flew in and out of his head like bees in a beehive, entering through his ears and exiting through his exhales over and over again. There were so many. He has so many problems just waiting for the right moment to sting him and make him feel numb to a point of death and oblivion.
The teenager sighed and suddenly stopped in the middle of the sidewalk as he looked up at the cheery colored autumn sky. The weather didnt help his mood. The warm colors of the leaves and sky only reminded him of the colors of home before he left and replaced everything with what he thought of as his soulmate. That home where he felt most accepted and loved yet imprisoned and corrupted at the same time. That home which he left and replaced for his 'soulmate'. That soulmate that was arguing and ignoring him. That soulmate who left him somber and red-eyed. That soulmate who never cared enough.
Eunhyuk angrily kicked at a pebble on the ground, sending it at a haste speed down the concrete trail. He followed the stone until it stopped, picked his foot up again and kicked at the stone over and over as if doing so will solve his dilemmas. The teenager let all his anger out at the poor screaming pebble. How hurt and bruised must the stone be after the abusing licks it had received, but Eunhyuk didn't care. Stupid stones. All they have to do is just be there and be nice and... stone-y. No problems. No fucking nuisances.
Eunhyuk took a glance at his left and saw an oak tree. It's late autumn and yet the leaves on the tree are still intact, still clinging for their dear botanical lives on the pointy elbows and sticky fingers of their mother tree. It was surely an odd thing to see. The leaves being of strangely eclectic orange and red hues signifying their cancerous dying states but here they are still battling against the northern frigid air and hanging onto the branches. In this seasonal climate change, and especially in South Korea, trees should be bald and bare by now, only having one or two leaves at best, and even those are only seconds away from letting go
Eunhyuk felt a tinge of hope looking at this tree, like it's trying to say never to give up and to hold on and wait just a little longer. It surely sent different emotions than the stone. The tree of being of hope while stone being of helplessness
If only Eunhyuk can transfer his anger to the inanimate object. If only he can simply transcend his entire being into the stone and let it carry all of his burdens to leave only a happy sunshiney Eunhyuk in his shell. But that's impossible, of course, because if such a world exist where he felt tortured and absolutely hopeless such as this one, then such is also a world where fantasy never come true.
But, the red haired boy had an idea that surely wouldn't solve his problems but would at least give him something to do in the meantime. Eunhyuk walked back towards the oak tree and bent over to pick up a stone sitting between the roots. He inspected it, flipping it over and over as he pulled out a marker from his pocket.
