Long time no update, again.
I guess I've been too lazy to write.
2 weekends ago we went to Calgary. Left Friday morning, and stopped in Drumheller on the way there. Stayed in a hotel in Strathmore. Saturday we went to the zoo, then downtown and up the tower. Found a hotel in the south end, and went to visit Darcy and Maralee in Okotoks in the evening. Nice to catch up after a couple years. Came back Sunday after a bit of shopping.
The next weekend, not much to report. We went to the SGC meetup party at Liam and Lisa's new place in Alvena. It was fun.
Last weekend, on Saturday we went hiking in Waskesiu. Then in the evening went over to Shelley and Joseph's. Little Joah grew a lot, and he liked Tanya quite a bit. Keith, Christy and her boy Brandon also came over; it was a nice visit with everyone. We left and went home in the middle of the movie; we were too sleepy, and it was getting late and Tanya was working (exceptionally, and overtime) Sunday. I was supposed to go to The UnderGround, but was too sleepy, and also went to bed.
Other than that, not too much new. Playing XBOX. Looking forward to our vacation in August: driving to Quebec. Slo-pitch is going well, our team is in 1st place with a 9-1 record. My hitting stats aren't too bad. Still looking at house listings, though it's discouraging... But I'll soon make it more serious by contacting a realtor. Maybe we'll get lucky and find something decent and affordable in one of the small towns we're considering (Warman, Martensville, Osler, Hague, Langham, Dalmeny, Asquith, Delisle, Dundurn, Clavet, Aberdeen). I've pretty much come to not only accept the fact that we probably can only afford a house in a small town, but even desire it. Of course there's the commuting disadvantage (time and money), but then it would also be more quiet, more community feeling, likely larger yard... Anyways, we'll see.
