Weekend Update: Oops, I did it again.
Well I got the computer all back up and running. Could have been worse. Could have cost a lot more, and could've lost my files.
Saturday afternoon I drove off and forgot to unplug my car. I found that out when I went to plug it in after I came back, and I had no extension cord and the plugin part of the cord that goes to the block heater had been ripped right off. So stupid...
I guess history does repeat itself. Or at least, I repeat the same mistakes (not having a current backup when my computer crashes, and forgetting to unplug my car before I drive away).
Saturday night I went to TUG. Chatted with Jerek a bit, and hung out with Nick. He told me how to fix two issues I had after reinstalling Windows (no sound, and getting the full 250GB of the hard drive).
That's pretty much all the news I have to report.
Is it spring yet? Next week?
