I've also been doing peripheral research on religious and sexual induction of trance states. If you have any info that helps tie the two together, I would be very grateful.

I have also recently been interested in a correlation between spiritual meditative states and "sub space"...I know I have read a few things...I will flip through some books and get back to you on the weekend.
