I haven't posted on of these in a long time but I found this very very interesting because I am absolutely fascinated lately by memetics and language as symbols and how that changes not only culturally but more interestingly regionally. I grew up north of San Diego, spent ten years around Denver, Colorado.
My answers are the same as yours, except as noted.

6. The device on the outside of the house that carries rain off the roof.

8. Carbonated, sweetened, non-alcoholic beverage.

Soda (Pop first showed up in Colorado, and I use it often now)

No idea; as I never buy beer by the case.
