Sometimes when you've been away from this sort of thing for a while, there's no good place to begin. Nothing earth shattering has happened in my life. That's not to say life's been boring though, for as much as I possibly can I've been out having a good time. A notable exception to this string of merriment was Veronica's grandfather passing. I felt for her because I thought 'wow, someone had a relationship with their grandfather like I did'. Not a mirror obviously, but for those of you who might not be certain: I considered my grandfather my best friend up until he died. No matter what he was there for me, and I returned the favor as much as someone under the age of 12 could. Death dredges up a lot of memories, which can be sad, but it's also a good reminder to count your blessings. To have a great loss means you had something of great value.
To shift gears, and leap ahead to this weekend:
Friday?: Fluxx with too many people, Poker worked much better for the number we were dealing with, as did Drug Dealer, a game Jim Pac turned me on to. Note: Cake and fresh cream were had, Jim showing particular affection for the cream.
What I said about Friday could've been on Thursday, I'm foggy on that. No reason to be interestingly enough.
Saturday: Visited Carly @ Grass Roots. Raw Dealing as usual, followed by chilling with Marina from midnight to 5:30, making fun of crayons, drunk people and more! Excellent times, I really missed that girl
Sunday: WML Fireworks! Bumped into 4 score and seven year's worth of people. How patriotic, I know. Also arrived with a posse, including Abby, Ely, Chris, Jim Pac and his gf Sam (for those of you catching up on the players).
We retired to my house for Guitar Hero and cake after. Little of either were had, and we resorted mostly to talk and some Panic at the Disco! aka Pancake at Nabisco!
Monday: Work, followed by DDR @ Dunellen with Ryan and Cheerio (kid I play cards with).
I HATE REVERSE DIRECTIONS. THE END.
