Change of Plans...Or Not.

With yet another temp gig coming to an end (I'm on day by day and my replacement got the tour this morning), the thought comes into my head: "Why don't I collect unemployment and go back to school for my MBA?" The new legislation lets me do that, though I'm not eligible for any aid, so why not right? Well I took a look at the programs both around here and online and costs aside, I'm still screwed. Plain and simple, there is no way I can pass calculus and stats. I barely passed Algebra II in high school; I literally had to wait for my final exam to see if I would pass for the year (I ended up with a 69.5) so that pretty much puts me out of the running for anything in the MBA territory. And I'm sure as hell not getting my Masters in English, lol. This sucks.

I have to look into it more but I still may start taking some business classes like accounting just so I can get those prerequisites out of the way. Regardless of the MBA, I know I'll need those going in. Maybe not every program is hell bent on sending my math anxiety into overdrive. Still, the ones here seem to be trying to do just that. Meh.

EDIT: Aaaaaand I'm apparently worthy of being impersonated on MySpace. This is obviously not my profile: BUSTED
