My audition songs

There's a fine, fine line

Between a lover and a friend

And there's a fine, fine line

Between reality and pretend

And you never know til you've reached the top if it was worth the uphill climb

But there's a fine, fine line between love

And a waste of time.

There's a fine, fine line

Between a fairy tale and a lie

And there's a fine, fine line

Between you're wonderful and goodbye

And if someone doesn't love you back, it isn't such a crime

But there's a fine, fine line between love

And a waste of time...

And I don't have the time to waste on you anymore.

I don't think you ever know what you're looking for!

For my own sanity I have to close the door

And walk away...

There's a fine, fine line

Between together and not

And there's a fine, fine line

Between what you wanted, and what you got...

You gotta go after the things you want while you're still in your prime!

There's a fine, fine line between love

And a waste of time...

~Avenue Q

Maybe this time, I'll be lucky

Maybe this time, he'll stay

Maybe this time

For the first time

Love won't hurry away

He will hold me fast

I'll be home at last

Not a loser anymore

Like the last time

And the time before

Everybody loves a winner

So nobody loved me;

'Lady Peaceful,' 'Lady Happy,'

That's what I long to be

All the odds are in my favor

Something's bound to begin

It's got to happen, happen sometime

Maybe this time I'll win

~Cabaret

I've got an audition coming up tomorrow, I'll be doing those and a monologue, if I can find a damn one minute comedic monologue worth doing.

I'm honestly nervous. I haven't really auditioned for something since last May, and that was a show I knew backwards and forwards in my sleep. What if I'm not good enough anymore?
