Oh my god why didn't anyone tell me I wouldn't be able to STOP???
So yeah. It's lumpishly unpretty so far, but Lilah won't care if Mommy knits her a lumpy scarf. I hope.

Xelloss and Zelgadis eyed each other from opposite sides of the delivery bed. The doctor, oblivious to the sudden tension in the room, plopped the goopy newborn on Lina's bare chest.
"He must take after your side of the family," the clueless OB remarked. "He doesn't resemble his daddy, that's for certain."
The newborn squalled as his very sharp hair-stubble pricked his flailing fists.
"No," Xelloss murmered. "He doesn't look like me at all."
