Ah! It's so cute!

[She carefully pulls off the bow before ripping it open with gusto!]

*It's a set of hairclips, all beaded with eighth note designs, and a matching bracelet. Somebody had a lot of time on their hands.*

The package is relatively small, and a little heavier than it looks. It's wrapped in blue wrapping paper, with a silver bow attached to it.

[An exhausted-looking Souji smiles a little at this, undoes the bow, and neatly removes the paper.]

It's a book about kendo, as well as a voucher for one free lesson at a dojo in Iwatodai. Also contained is a note:

"I hope these will help you hone your skill with a blade. Speaking as a swordsman myself, nothing helps you develop your own abilities more than learning a pre-existing style."

Nice.

> You wonder who could've given this to you, though. It couldn't be Raidou or Minato...obviously.

The gift is about a foot long, and heavier than it looks. It is wrapped in red wrapping paper.

Joshua's eyes light up and he shears the wrapping paper off it's left side.

What? He IS a teenage kid.

The gift is a book about military leaders in World War II, from all the major countries involved in the conflict. Also a note containing a riddle:

"I am a sword, able to cut through the thickest webs of deceit with my edge. Only those interested in truth and justice are worthy to stand with me."

He grins at the book... and pauses at the note, thinking hard about his answer.
