Still working on plushies, but very slowly. Working 11 hour days makes me too tired to lift my arms and sew when I get home, so poor Abra has been naked and armless for two weeks o_o I had to move him out of the drawer that has Piper and Trickster as, according to Dave and his impersonation of whiny Abra, they were "touching him and he couldn't hit back without arms" -_-
Also, Halloween is my holiday and I'm re-making my scarecrow costume (not Scarecrow, just scarecrow) from scratch. It'll be November before I work on plushies again. So, here's a funny story in the meantime.
I've been out of my favorite toothpaste for a few days and had to run to the store. As it's impossible to find toothpaste without whitening, I decided to stock up. Dave also found something...
Our purchase ended up being three tubes of toothpaste and a pint of red velvet ice cream. There were several cashiers, and the mood got really awkward and silent when I mentioned that this was probably the most random grocery purchase I've ever made. Have you ever looked at someone's grocery trip purchase and wondered what their plans for the night were? Yeah...Dave and I busted out laughing. It got worse when we got home and Dave asked me which tube of toothpaste I wanted first.
The moral of the story is I need some freaking sleep (and also that it IS possible to die laughing). ^_^
