I'm currently subbing in NISD for a whopping $50/day. Dosn't sound bad until you break it down to hourly pay, then I'm making $7/hr. This would be just fine, except that this is a job that requires 66hrs of college credit in order to make said $50/day. I was making better than that WITHOUT the college degree

I'm 3 hrs short of a master's degree and I'm working on my doctorate. Currently approaching the cumulative 200 hr mark:

My current job is as a GA for the PR department, incredible amount of work given that this is Pat Robertson's school and the media take monthly, if not weekly or daily, pot shots at us. It takes a degree in comm and a lot of experience to do this job effectively. Needless to say, I make 7 an hr too...

the GA's who work in the file room and who's qualifications are being able to read and lift 50 lbs make 8.50/hr

Eh, I'll make better in the fall (the districts I'm looking at pay ~40k/yr), but for right now... eh. Its income.
