Wow, girl on Youtube.Your misconceptions about LA are scaring me. If they are your reasons why you're moving here, you're in for a surprise.
I might be just saying this because I live here and it doesn't faze me anymore but seriously, TV Los Angeles is not even close to the "real" Los Angeles. A lot of people seem to forget that.
I'm not here to burst anybody's bubble. A lot of people equate Hollywood or Los Angeles with glitz and glamor and celebrities. Tourists wander wide-eyed, taking pictures of random jukeboxes in diners, asking locals if they've seen Leonardo DiCaprio walking down the street on Hollywood Boulevard. [Yes, those things did happen.] Heck, even the Farmers Market became a tourist spot because of "reported star sightings". The only "Hollywood Boulevard" most people see on TV is the Kodak Theatre. Or the Chinese Theatre. ONE BLOCK.
I've read/watched other "I'm moving to LA" blogs and vlogs before but this one... I was like, "JFC, really?" Everything she said sounded like it came off a 90210 script.
"I changed my hairstyle [from blonde to jet black and kind of a "scene" hairdo]. It's frowned upon here but since I'm going to LA... they don't really CARE about that, do they? [...] I'm pretty much against tattoos but hey, it's LA. If anybody would want a tattoo, they would love to get it in LA."
Uh, head on over to Hollywood Blvd and take your pick. Have your choice of smoke shops and costume outlets while you're at it.
Idk why I'm even writing this. At one in the morning, no less. Munching on my stash of Combos. Heh.
Good night, I guess.
