Do you remember what you were doing 9 years ago?
11 September 2001.
I was at the other side of the world. I think it was already the 12th in the Philippines when the Towers came down. I remember waking up a 4:30AM for school and the first words I heard from my mom that day were, “Wala nang WTC (The World Trade Center is no more).”
And then I skipped going to school to watch the news all day.
