So what if I'm watching NASA Connect at 1AM?

So yeah, I’m watching a bunch of NASA Connect episodes and I stumbled upon their “In Data Analysis and Measurement: Ahead Above the Clouds” episode.

They were talking about hurricanes/typhoons/storms, whatever the hell you call them.  The script during this slide went like this:

A “baguio” /bagh-ee-yoe/ in the Philippines.

Yes and no.

Technically, “Baguio” - in that spelling - in the Philippines is a city.  We used to go up there during the summer.  However, the term for storm in Filipino sounds like Baguio, bagyo /bag-yoh/.

Sorry.  I’m not touchy, I’m just bored.  LOL.
