I was so stoked that Declan Bennett was there. Fo'srs! I was on my way to the fields when his tweet came in saying he's listening to Ladyhawke (LOVE HER!) on the way to the softball game. OMG, so happy! Anyway, Rebecca Jones was also in attendance. She and Declan were playing catch in the grass behind the bleachers and I couldn't help but overhear their conversation. I love Rebecca. She's adorable!
Nothing much to say about this game apart from it was SO CLOSE. There's this one girl (sorry, I didn't catch her name) from the other team who was so good. She caught everything and hit everything. O_o Later, she shared that she played "a bit" in high school. Well, she's good. Christine, Justin, and I got low/high fives (or were they tens haha) from Miguel! That was pretty cool. And yes, I was wearing my Roger Federer cap haha. I'm a tennis geek, okay? ;-) Hmm, what else? Oh! I think their MVP this time is Carmel Dean, their musical director. "Aussie 16". She scored for the team twice. And Ben Thompson scored a huge one for the team.
They have American Idiot baseball caps! I'm not a cap person but I kinda want one. :) *hinthint AI store*
A lot of "significant others" were there. I won't say whose but yeah... *wink*
Seriously. How ADORABLE are these people?
So there we go. BSL Opening Ceremonies are next week so I suggest to be early.
