3AM
I'm usually a very late sleeper there are so far three people I've been willing to stay up until 3a-4a for. School stuff and all-nighters are understandable but in the name of sheer flove...
First two were Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal for the 2008 Championship Wimbledon final. It was a Sunday. Needless to say, that was EPIC! I stayed up until 4AM and never was I ever thankful for the "No class on Monday" thing of UP (I miss you, dear school). I remember my brother jumping up and down, Federer was down two sets, that was around 11PM in the Philippines. Then at the middle of the 5th, when all of my nails were chewed to the cuticle, he wakes up... time was 4AM - he was getting ready for school. He was like, "Ate, did you sleep?" I looked at him with bloodshot - teary - eyes and got his answer. He didn't leave the house until after the award ceremony. LMAO.
The third lucky bitch... is CHEEKS. At around 11:30PM last night, Thursday... Cheeks himself joined us in the chatbox at the fan forum. "Celebrated" Cheeky Friday and the release of his new most hilarious video to date with him. Oh, there's also an on-going contest. Check
for information on that. It was funny... we were counting down until Cheeky Friday, West Coast anyway, when "It's Cheeky bitches!" pops up in the chat. And then we all fell quiet. LMAO. Star-struck much? Then yeah... everything fell into place. A full house at the chat room, questions and ideas and opinions thrown around. If only you could've seen me... I had this Joker-esque smile on my face. HAHA.
My personal highlights were his reply to that Joker-esque grin message, "Your family might not take it [the video]. HAHA." LMAO. And all the mundane things we talk about... height, sister, Hollywood anniversary... I am so easily pleased by this incredible and REAL person. It's a "WYSIWYG" with Cheeks. I can almost HEAR him say the typed out stuff, as crazy as it might sound. I really enjoyed that 3.5 hours. Finally tucked in at 3AM.
LOL, he wasn't safe from the curse of that chatbox... your spelling goes crazy. It hit him pretty early LMAO. And he did get a lot of ideas from the room. The "Valley of the Dolls" idea got him going. Also IA vs CA issue. Man, how I wish I could've saved the whole chat. Maybe later I can write up a proper recap but I'm just kooky right now - I need to be fed, I'm functioning on 6 hours of sleep, over the moon with Roger Federer's 5-set semifinal win... *sigh* But I do have a pretty good memory so we'll see.
Hay. This time, I'm doubly thankful that I'm in the West Coast instead of the East. I hope we get to do the Cheeky Chat again. After all, Cheeks said he'll try to establish a video chat. =) Hopefully, when he posts who wins the Cheektini contest, he can join us again.
