Friday was not a great day. I spent a very long day in labs finishing off my experiment and cleaning out my cupboard. When I finally left chemistry I found my padlock and cycle helmet lying next to the door minus my bike. The padlock had been cut off. I hadn't bothered to take out bike insurance since the bike was less than £100 and the excess is normally £50. I didn't think anyone would bother to nick such a cheap bike. My mum has kindly said she'll help finance a replacement and I shall be making sure I get bike-shed membership this time. I hate that there are so many horrible people in the world. I hope if reincarnation does happen that I don't have to come back as a human -our species makes life so complicated.
