dear state farm auto appraisals department:
i'm glad that you got in contact with me so that i could get my car looked at so that the bumper won't be hanging off anymore and maybe i won't have to pay for some other assholes inability to use a fucking blinker and learn about driving distance...
however, the fact that you can't make an appointment is ridiculous...you tell me that you will show up at whatever location i give you between 8 am and 4 pm...the only probablem is, there is no day in the next few weeks were i know i will be at any given point for that long...for example, i will be at school from 10 am to 7 pm on wednesday, i will be at home until 2 pm when i drive to cliffside park, where i will be until 8 pm on thursday, and i will be in montclair from 8 am to 2 pm on friday, and while those times may overlap, i can't give you one address because i don't even know where i will be parked...
so basically, i have to leave my car somewhere and expect someone else to take me places, if no other place but the train station...and may god forbid that i actually have someplace i need to go right after because i have to depend on someone else getting to me, and well, when everyone is working there is no way for me to be sure i can still get where i need to be...
so i just want to make sure i have this right...because i am not a 9 to 5 office workers whose car will be in one place all day long...because i'm not some white collar desk jockey who has their schedule planned out from january to january, i get screwed over...you can't make a schedule, and then slot in your yuppies as time allows? because i am a musician and a student, i have to get screwed over and need to depend on other people to get me places that are completely out of their way just so that you can give me some broad estimate of time?
now forgive me if i seem a little annoyed...it is most likely because i am...because the way i see this is someone that you, state farm, insured was unable to remember how to drive a car in a way that would not send someone spinning around on a highway...the person you insured (read: made your fucking problem) apparently doesn't now how to use a blinker or do anything else that resembles changing lanes on a highway so now i have to cause not only major inconviences for myself, but for both my parents and the people i'm supposed to be meeting later that evening because you "don't schedule appointments"? would it be so hard to do that? wouldn't it make more sense? wouldn't it be giving better service? plus, i'm not going to fucking be there to tell you what this asshat did, and because you and your company obviously don't want to pay, then you are just gonna say it was may fault (which i'm sure is why i don't have a ticket from the state police) and that i have to pay for it, on top of all the other fucking things i have to freaking pay for...gee guys...thanks...thats really being a good neighbor...
with as much hatred and chagrin as i can conjur over my cold,
XXXX XXXXXXX
