Wet, wet, wet!
Well, tonight is the night I'm supposed to go see Simple Plan... BUT it's pouring outside so they will probably cancel the show. Plus, I was thinking... do I really want to go through the excruciating pain that comes from being in a mosh pitt?? Not that I know from experience or anything but I have heard that it is rather unpleasant. :D Ho hum.
I just got back from practicing dance at the local studio and am quite disgusting if I do say so myself. My face always turns bright red when I do any excercise... and I find myself thinking of a slightly roasted tomato. That added with the rain is not a pretty picture, trust me.
Mom is making Kabobs tonight. I don't exactly like beef so we'll see how that turns out! :D I'm being optimistic however!
I was glad to learn that John's favorite journal entry was about my rating system!!!!! It gave me such happiness!! You should all read it if you haven't!! :D
OHHHHHHHHH!! Big disappointing news!! I watched Bride and Prejudice and was VERY HEARTBROKEN!!!! It was nowhere near as good as I expected! :( The directress tried to make it more "Western" and it so didn't work. They did a "Greese-like" number that had me mortified and made most of the songs in English rather than Hindi so they sounded cheesy. They only had one song in the actual Hindi, and guess what??? IT WAS THE BEST SONG IN THE FILM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO SAD!!!! Also, they believed that people would already know the characters from reading Pride and Prejudice so they did absolutely NO CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT!!! Lizzie came off as a Valley Girl which she SO ISN'T!! AAAHHHH!! I was so upset, you wouldn't have been able to believe your eyes!!!! Oh well... I'll just need to watch Lagaan again in the future and I'll be all better! I STILL LOVE BOLLYWOOD!!!!
