Wow. I don't think I really appreciated the crappy, wonderful goodness of the Spice Girls movie, "Spice World" until this very moment. It really is the most spectacular crap! But how spectacular it is! In it, they meet aliens, deliver a baby, defuse a bomb, get into a boating accident, race doubledeckers, stay in a haunted house, dance with Italian men in butt-less purple suits, and do it all in pushup bras and platform shoes. But no matter how crap it is, it really is funny! Par exemple, some quotes in include:
- When the rabbit of chaos is pursued by the ferret of disorder through the fields of anarchy, it is time to hang your pants on the hook of darkness. Whether they're clean or not.
- Boys, boys! Calm down! Haven't you ever heard of the word "compromisation"?
- Okay, girls, that was absolutely perfect without... really being any good at all.
It's so horrible! They narrate the movie as it happens, in the pretense of creating a movie based on the events of the movie they made. while also filming a documentary of the film... it's so bad it makes my brains hurt... and made me all nostalgic all over.
