We did a Secret Santa gift exchange in the Psychology lab I work in. We drew names out of a hat and each posted a few gift suggestions in the lab wiki so that we all didn't end up getting each other generic crap just chocolate. I posted and said I loved weird knick-knacks from thrift stores. The person I drew made the mistake of saying, "I like weird knick-knacks just like Chantal".
Just like me you, you say?
THEN THIS IS GOING TO BE THE BEST GIFT EVER BRO.
Check out that panda! HIS EYES. HIS EYES.
I filled him with chocolate (I think he's supposed to be a jar...? Or a plant holder? Maybe he's supposed to ward off evil spirits?). I also found a lovely plush Christmas Giraffe ornament to give him and a really classy goblet/wine glass that had some witty saying about bowlers. It was a really great gift.
It was pretty hard to part with the panda. I mean, look at him. But I did. :'( Sadly, I didn't even get to see whether the recipient liked him/was going to give him a good home. He didn't come to the lab party, so he hasn't gotten his gift yet. (I swear, if he doesn't claim his gift, I'm so taking the panda back...)
