And off we go
On my first business trip in a while. I never cared much for traveling for work, even though I love to travel. Working out of your usual element (desk, phone, etc.) is just disconcerting -- I feel stressed not having things I'm used to, readily at hand. Otherwise, I don't mind it since it's also a good opportunity to be lazy and eat out without cooking. :p
But then you get these business trips - trips to Podunk, USA. Ugh, I understand the cost factors, but work at middle-of-nowhere town with nothing to do is rough. Sooo not looking forward to it. If only my HQ would move a couple of miles westward, to be closer to NYC than we're talking a whole different story.
I'll miss my kitties terribly. With each trip I find it harder and harder to spend more time away from the boys. *sniff* I hope they have fun while I'm gone, and no throwing up on my rug.
