Keep telling yourself that, and you won't be.
What are your expectations for yourself?

Trust me, better ability than I have. I have many fabulous creative skills, but anything that involves a representation of the human form is not happening. I can't draw. So my expectation is that what I see would actually be close to what happens when I try to make it reality, and paint is not a medium I have that control in. Nor one that, right now, I have the space or the money to learn, unfortunately.

I bet I could teach you. :)
If you can draw a circle and a rectangle, I can teach you how to draw anything.
In the meantime, get yourself the book "dynamic figure drawing" and go nuts.
