Waking up and not really trying to work at the moment, so I'm gonna do this 25 random things meme that spawned on Facebook. No tags, just a chance to get the brain gears churning and to brag about myself.
1. I really enjoy science fiction and constantly find myself wishing that my car would transform into a sentient being with the ability to travel through time.
2. It takes me forever to get through books because my mind wanders and I often find myself stopping short of the ending/epilogue.
3. I don't enjoy cold weather and would prefer August to February any day.
4. I rock climb pretty well but can't do push ups and become really winded when I have to climb stairs or walk up hills. I think it's a genetic thing.
5. I really want to fly a plane one day but I am terrified of flying in small planes. Too bad I couldn't start off in a nice 747.
6. If I had any kind of artistic talent and an ounce of patience I would be a musician.
7. When it comes to music, lyrics are usually the last thing I hear if the song has a strong beat and melody, and good vocals. It is the complete opposite with rap.
8. In class I am a complete introvert and rarely speak up because I get nervous and start to stutter. I believe this problem started sometime in middle school because when I was a kid I was a chatter box.
9. I have only been pulled over once (crosses fingers), which is amazing considering I have a bit of a lead foot and a nice collection of camera tickets.
10. I took my first puff of a cigarette when I was 23. You do the math.
11. I've never taken any illegal drugs.
12. I used to have purple and blue hair but decided to get rid of it when I needed to get a real job.
13. I'm pretty tall but I can't play basketball to save my life and I am too fat to be a top model.
14. I'm wary of disclosing too much personal info and expressing strong emotions because I'm paranoid people will use it against me. I think most of the time people just don't take me seriously.
15. I have an obsession with boots and like fashion though my personal fashion sense is closer to a lumberjack than haute couture.
16. I'm a slasher and we don't make these things up.
17. My ultimate goal in life is to be self-employed and the master of my own time.
18. I am a Leo and therefore pompous and lazy.
19. Despite my laziness I am quite ambitious and like to take risks that freak my family out.
20. I never knew what I wanted to be when I was growing up but I've always enjoyed the social sciences. Looking back I'm actually quite surprise that I did not stray too far from my favorite subject.
21. Travel is my passion and I am not afraid of the unbeaten path. In fact, I hope it roughens me up a bit.
22. I enjoy watching the highest quality of trashy television.
23. I also enjoy watching American football and truly miss the Sunday and Monday night games.
24. I love rainy days but only complain when its cold or if I forget to bring my umbrella along. Luckily I have remedied this problem with hats.
25. I am not a morning person and do not understand why the hours of 6, 7, and 8 am exist. That said I love the evening time and enjoy watching sunsets when I can catch them.
