Here is HipHopSite's two cents. If you don't wanna go look, 9.5 out of 10, 4.5 out of 5 and 4.5 out of 5. I still can't decide if I like Dropout more or Registration. I think as much as I love this one I'm leaning towards Dropout. Dude's been everywhere though, Time magazine cover, Oprah, performed @ the VMA's. I'm looking forward to seeing his first week sales #s.
I went ahead and put some money down on the Xbox 360. 50 bucks down, 350 left to go...sigh. I'm going to keep going back to Gamestop and putting money into it like it's a piggy bank. I'm going to sell my Xbox soon and put that money towards it. I got some Ebay money coming to me which will also go towards the fund. And I'm planning on selling my Sony p1130 crt monitor. I'm still trying to sell my modded Xbox but it's not going too well. I guess it doesn't help that it's illegal to sell them on Ebay. We shall see.
Saw some movies recently. Two Christian Bale movies. Saw the Machinist. That was a messed up movie. It was disturbing to see Bale @ that weight. It was do disturbing it almost took away from the story I thought. I don't wanna give away the story. While watching it I was thinking what in the hell is going on, it's interesting how it comes together. That's all I'll say. He's like 120 lbs in this movie. He was over 200 in Batman Begins. Next up was a movie I feel ashamed that I took so long to see. Equilibrium. It's a movie w/ Bale and Taye Diggs amongst others. W/o this movie there probably would have never been a Matrix movie. They bit so much shit for the Matrix it's crazy. The look of the movie, the fighting style, the costumes, etc. It wasn't a classic or anything but it's weird to see a movie that came out before the Matrix feel so much like the Matrix.
The gas situation in Atlanta is crazy. Had to go to 4 different gas stations before I found one that actually had gas. 3.50 a gallon. There were fights and ridiculous lines all afternoon. It took my co-worker Marc 45 minutes to fill up. The rumor is there won't be gas available for a couple of days so everyone went nuts. People panic here alot, milk and bread sells out when people see one hint of snow. And people can't drive in the rain. Besides that, I love the people of Atlanta ;-)
