Poem

May 17, 2007 13:02

So much change observed as one
Repetition has made this familiar
though I know it should not be
Like my frayed and worn blanket
That has lulled me through so many moons
This blanket sewn of solitude
Crafted to muffle the noises of this love
Seeking an alternative warmth each night
...For now I lay with thee.
