i've had this journal such a long time. i've had it through so many different turning points in my life. i've written about each and every one in here. my journal has never let me down. but, i believe, there always comes a time when you should start new. old memories sometimes hurt, and there are so many attached to this journal. as much as i don't want to leave it all behind, i know i must. i know there are other people who get a new journal at the end of the year, so i figure now would be a good time to start, you know? new year, new beginning. here's to it, folks.
