Throwing some actual art into the mix
So as promised, here are some Painter things. They're from my unfinished folder and while more finished than the vast majority of items in that folder, they still have more to work on.
So, here's a peacock-colored young dragon; just trying to throw memory of color into a drawing kinda thing. I titled it
Snug 'cause he's just so cosy looking. :D
And this one is definitely still in a WIP state. Got some art technique books from the library recently, just to find out how I could improve my painting skills. The b/g is vaguely inspired by stuff from painting landscapes filled with light by dorothy dent (yes, no caps in the actual title of the book. Trying to get Painter to actually paint is somewhat of a task. So rather than actually following the instructions, it is more like an imitation of the colors and opacities used. Will work on it some more.
So this is Elysia de Meyr, aka, Changewinds, my principal character. She's a shapeshifter though I've represented her so far in dragon form, mostly because I'm not all that great at drawing people, or at least my people drawing standard hasn't caught up to my beastie drawing standard. As noted herewith.
