Audio Visual and a New Bird

Went biking around the Santa Fe Dam today and walked some of the nature trails. It's a good place to spot quail, though only in the distance today. However, I did see a bird species I haven't before, the Cactus Wren, which strangely does sound like a car engine that won't start, as they described on the Nature Center signage.

Hey, fun! You must be really fast with color to do these! They look cool on toned backgrounds. Yeah, these are a good way to do quick sketches that kind of mean something but let you explore too. More art please.

No color mixing on the computer :p and Corel Painter has a color wheel as opposed to swatches, so color selection is pretty fast, though you can also note that the sketches are pretty rough. This was an interesting exercise; I'll have to try it again.
