Kindred spirit from afar, can you tell me when you are?
I see you across the way, but it seems like yesterday.
When I try to talk with you, it’s cloudy like skies so blue.
Where is it you like to go? Through the freeway in the snow?
Why do you not quick respond, even though I ask beyond
the normal standard milieu? Please tell me what’s up with you
in a lang I comprehend! Will I soon call you a friend?
I really don’t understand how to effectively send
you messages you can take, from your point of view create
translated to fit your mind with its frames made far behind
us now in both time and space. Conversations commonplace?
These we speak do seem to send beyond, back-and-forth they bend
to and from both of us now, and we’ve talked for this long how?
Perhaps someday we will see how to connect you and me
through a medium that is universal in its ways,
showing through that love for all, if indeed we’ve loved at all.
