You're probably not the guy authorized to say anything, but can we please get a policy statement from someone on why this filter was in place in the first place? It made LJ look homophobic, insensitive to the mentally ill, contemptuous of its users and a host of other bad stuff.

Cool. I'm more or less not going to send people to hassle you, because I get the position you're in, but if you see the relevant warm body (unless, of course you work remotely) I hope you'll encourage them to do so.
