So...this is kind of a lame question but...

When do you know you're an adult? Is there like...some kind of right of passage or?

Opinions?

There isn't a set time. People become adults at different times and in different ways. But most know when they can look at their life and put responsibilities before fun and you know for a fact the world no longer revolves around yourself and it doesn't bother you to know that.

Huh...well I mean, I'm a superhero. That's kind of part of the job.

True. But what about your personal life?

Um...mostly spent reading comic books, watching TV and waiting for the next big crime that is in need of my superheroics.

I used to have a girlfriend but she was sent home.

Oh! And I run an Inn sorta. It mostly runs itself.

Hmmm. And are you okay with all of that?

Well I do wish my girlfriend was still here, and I miss my life back home.

On the other side I know what I'm doing here is important too ya know? So I can't exactly just walk away, even if I had the option to leave.

I get it. One last question. Do you want to be an adult?

I'm going to tell you something a wise woman once told me. Age doesn't determine your maturity. You don't turn a magic age and become an adult. It's a conscious choice. You choose whether to grow up or remain a kid or teen. That's all there is too it. It's your choice.
