Yesterday I found out that my substitute teaching credential expired on the 1st and not the 20th like I had originally believed, which means I am now out of a job and can't legally take over for my master teacher if she has to take the day off

I had a fairly bad week as well - I got pulled over for a broken light (it was like that when I got the car) - I can't repair it because the backing that the light plugs into is broken and that part has been discontinued so I need to find it at a junk yard or on-line. Fun stuff. Which of course means that I also can't pass a state inspection.
As well, I recently transferred the title from a different state so I had 7 days to change the license plates (of course I didn't get around to it), which apparently is a felony and I could have been arrested.
Today I broke off my rearview mirror...
Oh well, it's really not all that bad - but it's made for an interesting week.
Regarding your taxes - make sure you get it done for free - you can do it yourself on-line through many places - or H+R Block and many free services also exist in Oakland I would recommend EBALDC (I worked there last year), they're located in downtown Chinatown BART accessible and they're awesome.
Anyways - hope the cookies make you feel better - watch a trashy movie and drink some diet coke!
