I had an interview at AppleOne, a temp. agency. Last time someone called me "bright" and "amazing" during a job interview I ended up not getting. But the interviewer seemed to really like me and said she'd let me know if she could get me any jobs because I'd "represent [her] really well." Sweet.
I also saw a flier and called a lady about her Autistic 4-year-old in need of some social therapy through a program called Son-Rise. I know absolutely nothing about it. I said if I could do anything, it'd be Fridays for a few hours in the afternoons. She'd pay me around $25 for my time.
I'm not going to tell my boyfriend's mom or her boyfriend about this, because I used to supervise her boyfriend and his daughter for a few hours every Friday and said I couldn't because I had to focus on work and grad schools. Now here I am with another kid. That'd look bad. But this is a career move, and supervising wasn't. Plus, I don't feel manipulated or obligated to take this. I still want to talk to my boyfriend about it first, because a big part of the reason I stopped supervising visits was because I saw him rarely as it was and it was making our relationship suffer.
