This is an entirely new level of weird and loud.
I think Nathan's joke on forced sterilization is one I should adopt as a tenet of my belief system.
Just prior to lots of banging for about 5-10 minutes outside my living room window:
Hannah: Mom, can I go hammer rocks?
Jen the Property Manager: Sure, sweetie!
Just now?
Jen: Don't break the sprinklers, or hammer them! ... There are sprinklers that go down into the ground and you better not be hittin' those.
