Staring into her coffee cup with a fond absentminded smile on her lips, Audrey thought about her last few weeks. She was perfectly content, feeling that nothing could rain on her parade. She usually wasn’t a morning person, but at 7:30 in the morning she was wide awake, and she drank her coffee just for the sake of not destroying her morning ritual

Aiden groaned when the sun hit his face jerking upright at the yell. He looked around before spotting Audrey with his blanket. He was sprawled across the bed wearing his usual sleep attire a pair of black sweatpants. "You are a cruel woman. Is it even noon yet?"

He lay back down clutching the pillow tightly over his head.

Just the reaction she wanted. Audrey giggled, pulling at the pillow covering Aiden’s face. “What? Is 7:30 too early for you?” She teased.

He groaned and grabbed for the pillow,"Yes now go away."

“No. You’re going to have to drag me out of here, because I’m not going anywhere.” Audrey teased, attempting to wrestle the pillow away from him.

He groaned and slid out of the bed grabbing a spare blanket before flopping back onto the bed.

“Come to Starbucks with me, Aiden. I’ll pay. It’s a beautiful morning, and I don’t want to waste it.” Audrey whined with a frown. He was no fun. “Don’t. Waste. Your. Morning. Sleeping.” Placing her hands on his back, she shook him with every word.

"You'll pay?" He moved to blanket raising his eyebrow at her.

Audrey grinned. “I’m in a generous mood, but it has to be under a dollar.” She teased, raising to her feet. She was in such a great mood. Her smile must’ve been enough to give it away.

He laughed and rolled onto his side rubbing at his face. "I still think it's far too early to be up on the weekend."

Audrey shrugged. “I don’t think so. Did you have a late night?” She asked settling back down beside him.

Aiden nodded looking at her,"Very late. Coffee is very good."

“Late night, doing what?” Audrey asked a leer crawling across his face. “Did you meet a girl?” she questioned.

He laughed turning to look at her,"I might have met someone interesting."

“Elaborate.” She said curiously, happy that Aiden found someone who interested him. Hopefully, with time it would bloom into something more.

"Interesting woman had a good time,"he shrugged.

Audrey frowned, and dropped the subject. Aiden could be as mysterious as he wanted to be. It didn’t bother her. Much. Sighing, she patted his thigh before raising to her feet, “I’ll give you a few minutes to get dressed, Sleeping Handsome.” She grinned, making her way towards the door.
