Double Happiness

I passed by the Beverly Hills Courthouse on the way to work. The line for marriage licenses was out the door, but, thus far, not unmanageably long. Because I am a sap, I got a little misty (well, truth be told, I'm still a little misty). People were chatting amiably, some dressed up, some dressed like it is just another day. And I guess it is. But it's been an awfully long time coming.
