yup it's quite cheap! actually i think the people who tag the price tags on clothes are different people who sometimes put damm exp prices on clothes sometimes. i so know what u mean...i picked up lots of clothes at SA and was shocked at their price tags. especially for shoes, even when it's quite worn out already. and omg hhahah i dont think they tag clothes according to the lengths of them. i think mine was quite low coz it's quite a daring back and maybe they thought nobody would buy it. plus the hem is flared, not fitting to the thighs. i didnt like the bottom hem. actually now the price seems to good to be true, i better check the tag again to see if i remembered it correctly. definitely not more than $10 coz i won't part more than that for a dress.
OH OH i meant i wanted to make the backdrop of the picture black. like make the back black. sorry lol! i see how i was misleading now. nope my dad doesn't know about my blog. actually he has a facebook but we don't add each other.

i love what u did with the black layered on "dress" :D but it's black so i can't see the details much though. it really looks like a dress to me. aww wished i had a mailer notification whenever your blog is updated. i think my friend has something like a following blog lists and they put the days of the blog last updated. i wonder if livejournal ones will show!
i'm most probably going to europe: amsterdam, paris, and rome! any tips, advice or suggestions? :) i think you went to paris before?
so how much were those shoes you saw? i only give them a cursory glance usually without picking them up to look at the price because i expect they are Filthy with a big F. which SA do you go to pick up things anyway? i scored my dress at the upper bukit timah branch, and my maple leaf brooch at the serangoon one. what if they thought the red dress was a petticoat or nightie?? that's why they price so cheap. haha, just kidding :P
do you have adobe photoshop? maybe you can cut out your figure and plant it into a black background or anything you want. it takes some skill though to make it look convincingly real, which sadly i don't have!
the lacy part belongs to my skirt, and you might be able to see in the 1st picture an asymmetrical line running down somewhere in the middle of the outfit, that's the hem of my mini dress. heh. i wanted to adjust the brightness and contrast of the picture further so the details can be better seen, but it will compromise on the quality of the picture (will become gritty and all).
btw, i forgot to mention! that picture with your niece tugging at your skirt while you are taking outfit shots is SO ADORABLE! and you are madly smiling like you want to burst out laughing at her absolute cuteness! :D and also, i really like the idea of wearing checkered socks in your auntie work shoes to fake a pair of cool ankle boots. post an outfit with them "booties" please!
