Justin Olson and his family were celebrating his high school graduation, and his younger brother was in a place he loved best: the outdoors. But the party at the family-run God's Country Nursery near Farmington turned tragic Saturday when Brett Olson, 13, was killed after he was thrown from a vehicle on which he and his best friend were riding. Brett and friend Lucas Nagel, 12, of Apple Valley, were on a four-wheeled golf cart about 7:30 p.m. in a remote area of the nursery, which is owned by Brett's father, David. As they went from one dirt road to another, the boys apparently cut a turn too sharply. The cart flipped over and landed on top of Brett, killing him instantly, said Dakota County Sheriff Don Gudmundson, who said it was unclear who was driving. Nagel was thrown from the cart and taken to Regions Hospital in St. Paul with arm, shoulder and neck injuries. He is expected to recover
