boxing is like a poetry reading
A lot of it is pretty boring. One of the fathers at my school is a professional boxer. Last night a bunch of the teachers went to his boxing match. There were several matches before the main event which was his match. Wow, who knew people hitting each other could be so boring. Boxing has a lot of rules. They stop the match a lot and it's called a knock out even if no one is knocked out. I know from being knocked out and that wasn't it. Anyway the match between the two women was really good because they actually moved around and hit each other. Most of the men's matches, especially the heavy weights, looked like they were shot in slow motion. It was really loud in the arena, so I wore my ear plugs and my friend Brenda walked me down to my seat and then back out at the end. All in all, I'd have to say it really wasn't worth the price of the incredibly discounted ticket. I wouldn't do it again, but now I know.
